Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
